FOR ARLINGTON TOWN MEETING
PRECINCT 14
Arlington's success depends on smart choices: excellent schools, thriving local businesses, and housing that works for everyone. I will work to protect what makes our town a great place to live!
My wife and I love calling Arlington home. I am an engineer for NASA working on robots to support manned missions to the moon and mars, and my wife is a professor at UMass Lowell researching ocean ecosystems - we encourage everyone to eat more MA oysters! Needless to say, we believe in robust public institutions, particularly those that support our local community.
Around town, you might see me with our little dog Samwise at off-leash hours in Robbins Farm or Menotomy Rocks parks, teaching in the heights at our local CrossFit gym, or eating too much pizza from Andrina's. More recently, I have been volunteering as the captain for Precinct 14 for the Vote Yes to Keep Arlington Strong campaign. I care deeply about supporting our schools, libraries, firefighters, and our many other public services, and will be working to get people out to vote for it on March 28th!
I'm running for Town Meeting because Arlington is a great place to live, and I will push for those policies that will ensure it stays a great place to live for everyone. As your Town Meeting member, I'm committed to being accessible and responsive, whether you have questions about town issues, need help navigating town government, or just want to share your ideas about Precinct 14's priorities.
Beyond the override campaign, as a Town Meeting member I will focus on efforts that:
Vote in favor of smart zoning changes to build more multi-family and affordable housing while preserving Arlington's character.
Assist in efforts to remove red tape to make it easier for small businesses to open, and to improve foot and bike traffic along our commercial corridors.
Continue and expand tax relief programs for seniors and working families who need support.
Have questions or want to discuss Arlington's future? I'd love to hear from you.
